Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Wishkin for use of the Wishkin app and website. By using Wishkin, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Wishkin.
Who can use Wishkin
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Parents are responsible for the information they add about their children.
Accounts and family circles
- Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Anyone with your family's invite code can join your family circle and see your children's lists. Share codes only with people you trust, and remove members you no longer want in your family.
Subscriptions
- List Creators need a Wishkin family plan, offered monthly or yearly. Gift-givers are always free.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm your purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- One family plan covers the subscribing parent and one co-parent they invite. Plans may not be shared with other families.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- If we change prices, we will tell you in advance, and the change will apply at your next renewal.
Your content
You own the lists, photos and information you add. You give Wishkin permission to store and display that content to your family circle so the app can work. Don't add anything you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful, hateful or harmful.
Purchases from other stores
Wishkin links to products sold by other stores. We don't sell those products and aren't responsible for their price, availability, shipping, quality or returns. Prices and photos shown in Wishkin may be out of date; check the store before you buy. Marking a gift as bought in Wishkin does not place an order.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Wishkin, including trying to access other families' information, disrupting the service, or using it to send spam. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers
Wishkin is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wishkin is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Apple
If you downloaded Wishkin from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and Wishkin, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may close accounts that violate these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will note the date above. Continuing to use Wishkin after changes means you accept them. Questions: hello@wishkin.app.
